who is aero?

At a very young age the inspiration to strive for my dreams were instilled in me by my mother and father. My start began in a little classroom at Robinson Middle school where I made my first restaurant menu I knew this is what i wanted to do forever however when it came time to pinpoint what that looked like in practicality me and my parents were stumped. So then went years long of searching in the dark my start began in music, then literature and finally graphic design. Through the years ive been developing the skills through weird projects and many failed attempts at success.

Inspired by the accomplishments and words of life from various family members I have decided to give myself the chance to pursue a different form of voice. Taking on courses to strengthen my capabilities in regards to graphic design, printing + web development at JCCC. Throughout my time here my goal is to push myself artistically to learn all I can to achieve my big ideas. My goal is to break binaries with each piece that I have the privilege to spend time on. what exactly do I do?

Many moments in my career I found this question to be daunting as I didn’t have the words to explain my process but now as I learn the tools I can answer this question with confidence.


  • Graphic + Web Designer

    My journey toward a creative career began in 2021. It wasn’t a straight path—in fact, it was anything but. I dove in messily, with no clear idea of what “actualizing a creative career” really meant. All I knew was that I wanted to create, so I started saying yes to opportunities and immersing myself in as many creative projects as I could.

    At first, I felt like I was constantly playing catch-up, unsure if I was doing things “right.” Grief and the limitations of my location added to the weight of imposter syndrome, making me feel disconnected from the creative world I wanted to be a part of. There were times I doubted if this path was even for me.

    But through trial, error, and persistence, I’ve gained a clearer vision of what I want to achieve. I’ve realized that my work isn’t just about creating—it’s about empowering. I want to design in a way that uplifts voices often overlooked in digital spaces, voices that deserve to be heard and seen. And that journey begins with my own.

    This realization has helped me transform uncertainty into purpose. Now, I’m weaving together all those messy beginnings into a cohesive vision—one that reflects not just my creativity, but my values and the impact I hope to make through my work.

    Graphic Design

    As a graphic designer, my work gives me the freedom to create without limits and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. I strive to support small businesses and causes by offering free assets whenever possible, helping those who often lack access to extensive design resources.

    My philosophy is rooted in reviving a timeless ideal within graphic design: using our creative talents to amplify voices and share stories that often go unheard. For me, design is more than aesthetics—it’s a tool for connection, empowerment, and meaningful storytelling.

    Web Design

    Like it or not, our future is digital—and as a web designer, my goal is to champion a more accessible digital world. Using principles of UX design and the skills I gain through JCCC’s web development program, I aim to create projects that merge creativity with accessibility.

    I believe it’s possible to craft designs that are both full of personality and inclusive for all users. My work is driven by this vision: to build a digital landscape that’s not only innovative but also welcoming for everyone.

    PTMY: Signature

    This signature was inspired by the art of my childhood but more importantly the first piece of art I encountered my uncles mural in my dads barbershop.

    PTMY: BOOKLET INFOLD

    The infold image of the booklet displays an image crafted of personal objects I use everyday. My goal within photo editing was to desexualize these objects to bring a new light to their potential.
